Dynamic Translation of 25 Languages
There are a multitude of reasons why your system should be available
in more than one language. The more important question is: "How should I do this?"
If your content rarely changes and you only want to provide a few different languages, it is possible that you could simply type the text up
in several languages. This is, by far, the most accurate translation you will get. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to maintain.
At Morris Development, we specialize in dynamic systems. We focus exclusively on systems with a substantial portion of the content being
entered via a user-interface rather than typed in by a HTML programmer. To do this, we need to translate our content dynamically.
Currently, there are really only two options that are efficient and fairly accurate. Systrans Inc. provides a system which acts as a proxy to your own server,
loading your pages, ripping the content out and then passing it on to your client. It is a bit slow, rather rough, not inexpensive, but effective. We've had
some clients using that service for years.
Google now offers an AJAX service which does translation. It is quite nice and fairly acurrate. Here is a quick sample to show you the speed and
ease of the system: translator
With some fairly simple adjustments to the HTML on your webpage, we can set your system up to be viewable in 25 different languages.
