Paging with online PDF modules

On of the biggest challenges for web-based systems is the printed document.  Our clients must be able to print out multi-page reports that are in a stable and clean format regardless of what machine downloads them, what browser they are using, and what printer is being used.

As of today, using a PDF is the best way to surmount this challeng.  However, working with PDF documents is not like working with an HTML document.   Luckily, there are some effective tools developed over the years to help us get by some of the complexities of a PDF and focus on producing an attractive document.

We have found WebSupergoo’s abcPDF.net applicatin to be the most efficient and stable solution.  It is also the most well documented and supported module of all the PDF modules we have tried over the past 5 years.

Once you’ve installed abcPDF into your application, and made a few sample documents, you’ll see how easy it is.   Their documentation is easily enough to handle showing you that works.  We’re going to focus with the biggest challenge of all:  Paging.

The details were so long that I put them into a full document :  Paging with abcPDF.net
